How quickly can you provide a moving estimate?
We respond to quote requests within one business day. For most local moves we can give you a solid estimate over the phone; for larger homes, offices, and anything with specialty items we schedule a walkthrough — in person or by video — so the number you get is the number you pay.
How far in advance should I book my move?
Two to four weeks is comfortable for a local move. Summer weekends and the end of any month book up first, so if you are moving between May and September aim for four to six weeks. We do take short-notice moves when we have a crew available — call and ask.
Do you provide packing and packing materials?
Yes. You can hire us for full packing, for fragile-only packing, or just buy the boxes, paper, and wardrobe cartons and do it yourself. Most customers have us pack the kitchen and anything breakable and handle the rest themselves.
Can you store my belongings between homes?
Yes. Closing dates rarely line up, so we store your belongings in our facility in padded vaults and redeliver when your new place is ready. You are billed for the storage time you actually use.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry liability and workers compensation coverage and can provide a certificate of insurance for your building or HOA on request — many apartment and office buildings require one before move day, so ask early.
How do you handle pianos, safes, and other heavy items?
With dedicated equipment and a crew trained for it, not with extra people and hope. Pianos, gun safes, oversized art, and shop machinery are quoted as specialty items so the right gear is on the truck when we arrive.
